ASHRAE 62.1 ventilation dialog without PRM

Post by bbrannon4 »

Hello,

Is there a way to get to the ventilation requirements without being in the PRM? I have a project with several HVAC files that I’m trying to test, but when I look at the loads spreadsheets, I don’t see the correct OA and ventilation requirements applied that I specified in the PRM. I tried adjusting the 62.1 dialog numbers, and then rerunning the sizing for all HVAC files, but I still don’t see the results in the spreadsheets, and I’d prefer to stay out of the PRM anyway.

Thanks in advance,
Ben

Hi Ben,

The Prototype System Sizing Navigator (or toolbar buttons in ApacheHVAC) would allow you access these to this interface and it will reflect in the loads and sizing calcs you run there.

Only alternative is to manipulate manually and look at the air inputs on the Apache system and room data for the loads calculations but don't know how feasible that is on a big scale.
