Population Profile 500-2500-500

Dear All

I have a space where at normal operation i have 500 people and for 15 minutes it goes up to 2500 and then back to 500. I have made a modulating profile on that basis. The result file shows 900 people only during the peak time. Why is that?

Secondly, how can you make an absolute profile for population which can be selected in internal gain tab under variation profile drop down? The only option appears is for modulating.

Try to decrease the simulation time step. IF the change happens the 15 minutes and the time step is 30 then you get an average prise. A step of 1 minute will describe the change better. Try that for a smaller period (1 month) and check the results.
This might be the problem.

I have checked the results by decreasing the time step. It gives a wrong answer plus when i chose 1 minute it does not take into account 2500 people rather for the whole day it shows 500.

The 1 minute step should show exactly the changes of the population.
