Hi everyone,
I am new to IES, and I am trying to apply internal gains to run a load calc simulation.
The way that I am currently approaching it:
1) Creating Thermal Template in Building Template Manager
2) Opening up Apache
3) Assign Room Thermal Template
4) Query to make sure Thermal Template is assigned and internal gains are listed
After the Query, the gains are listed and everything seems ok, but then when I do the load calc I get 0 for internal gains.
Am I doing something wrong??

Re: Trouble applying Internal Loads
Are you sure the room cooling profile is not set to "Off Continuously" or the diversity isn't set to 0?

Re: Trouble applying Internal Loads
Hi Benny
If you are doing a CIBSE heating load analysis then internal gains are omitted as part of the methodology. If you are doing a cooling analysis or a full ApacheSim dynamic simulation then the internal gains should be showing up under vista.
