Vista vs Detailed Report Results

Post by junaidbinnaseer »

Dear All

I am finding different results when i compare the vista variables with the detailed report. The detailed report is from vista tab and then Building Heat and cooling load summary.

For instance, I get an auxiliary latent vent gain as 297 kW whereas from vista by directly clicking the variables I get 326 kW. This goes for other variables as well. What is the reason for it? And which one is the right value??

I think this is down to the delivery efficiency listed in your systems. This is a derived figure so you need to fiddle with the other efficiencies to get it to 1.0

Thanks Cp

Can you please illustrate it? The detailed report essentially shows the heat gain from different sources such external conduction gain, internal conduction gain and internal gains.

By comparing the vista detailed report generated by vista and the vista variables, there is a significant difference. This difference should not be there as you need the peak load of the space.

My point is why should we change these efficiency when it has nothing to do with the apache system? This software has some unique issues..
