Hi,
When the installer fails you will get a link to an error log that shares some light on what hasn't worked.
Most often it is because you don't have an up to date Standard Data and Weather File installation but your machine security or firewall block the update from being applied as part of installation. If you return to the IES website Download Centre you will get the installer for this and you can install it before installing the VE applications package
