Hi,
I have purchased the student version of IES and loaded a model I had previously created in a professional version. Now the Building Template Manager does not display the complete Apache Constructions database as it used to. More specifically, I would previously select and element (ex. a wall) and a list of different constructions would pop-up underneath. Instead, the only constructions I can now see are the ones I had used/selected when I was building my model (i.e. one type of wall, one type of window, etc.).
Is there something I can do to regain the full list of Apache Constructions?
Many thanks,
Eleni
Building Template Manager does not display complete database
Re: Building Template Manager does not display complete data
Hi,
In Tabular Construction Database there are filters you can set on columns which will affect which options are displayed. Some of the default tabs come with these filters preset for example the 'Assigned (thermal)' tab has a filter on so that you can only see those Constructions that have the 'assigned' column set to Yes.
To see any active filters for the tab you are looking at right click on the column header field and choose Manage Filters then you will see which filters are in use and it is likely this is what is preventing you from seeing your Construction library.
Also worth mentioning here that if you have clicked on the 'Purge unused project constructions' link then that would only leave you with those Constructions that are assigned to your building.
