Hi,
For the past year or so we've focussed development efforts on to VistaPro rather than the old Vista. The interface for variable display and selection is much faster and easier and there are plenty of advanced options now for plotting different types of charts with analysis bands, Model Viewer ll based model colouring based on results, Wind Rose, MacroFlo arrows.
This has been done with the intention of removing Vista so the only results viewer option you will have is VistaPro. In the VE 2015 release we'll advance this by making VistaPro the default results viewer for all installations and also there will be a reminder pop-up if you do click in Vista to suggest VistaPro.
It is expected that later this year the Vista option will be removed.
If there are any problems with VistaPro or reasons you would still use Vista then please do flag this up to feedback@iesve.com or post here as soon as possible so we can consider these and resolve before making this decision. I personally have been using VistaPro for the past year and think it's great (I'm forever encouraging people not to take everything from the VE Reports and to dig deeper in VistaPro to really understand and analyse model performance) and now we need to share this joy with anyone still stuck using the Vista interface.

Re: Vista to be discontinued
Please keep Vista as an option for IESVE, it's not so perfect as Vista pro, but in Vista, I can quick check the minor change in design option much faster than Vista pro. Vista pro suit for professional presentation but not for quick check of many minor changes.
Re: Vista to be discontinued
Hi,
VistaPro in last versions has no possibility to do range test (unmet hours) not for total year.
Ealey I can do this test for any single month.

Re: Vista to be discontinued
Hi all,
I have brought this topic back to the top now as we are working on VE 2018 which includes even more additions and updates in VistaPro which you will love. This version will remove Vista as well and I'm confident we have everything in place and available in VistaPro
Changes in recent years including advanced ApacheHVAC network node and component results, Pyschrometric chart, Model viewer 2 results, easy variable selection, access to energy end uses and meters outputs are all exclusively in VistaPro so I would hope you already use this, if not please move over now and if you have any questions you can post here or contact your local IES Technical Support representatives.
