Top Hung Window on Glazed Surface

Post by setri »

I am a ModelIT newbie, currently strugling with modeling a high-rise project. My project consists of a 16-story building, of which practically 100% of the facade is glazed. However, this building is naturally ventilated, and thus a series of top-hung windows (much smaller in area in comparison to the entire glazed wall) populate most of the building's facades.

My question is the following:IES won't allow me to superimpose the "small" hung windows on top of the entire glazed wall. How should I get around this problem? If I define the openable percentage area in MacroFlo to that corresponding of the top hung windows on the 100% glazed wall, will it be "equivalent" to creating the windows in ModelIT?

Kind regards and any help is appreciated.
