Baseline constructions and wrong Climate

Post by Luisandrade »

Hi all,
I have a problem concerning the issue of when IES selects the wrong ASHRAE climate area ( 4 insted of 3 in my case).
I saw in the "knowledge database" that "...Thus even if the selected weather file exhibits a variant climate class the PRM baseline models will be as expected by ASHRAE 90.1.".
This actually happens and when I import Baseline constructions they (obviously) do not match the climate zone I want! I then select a different climate file which does match and I import them. After this I manually assign the new imported (Z3) constructions in the Baseline and re select the appropriate climate file (Z4).
However, when I follow the PRM there is the "Generate Baseline" option and if I select it, the IES will reset the constructions of Z4 to the Baseline.

I don't mind to reset them again, but are there any other settings that the IES resets and that I should be aware of? Or is this the only thing that it resets?

Best regards,

Luis R.A.
