IES VE 2015 - Not approved for lodging EPCs

We've just "upgraded" to IES VE 2015 and tried to lodge an EPC and found out that the new 2015 version of IES is not accredited for lodging EPCs!

Furthermore, we cannot open the model in IES VE 2014.

Does anyone know when the EPC approval/accreditation process will be complete for IES VE 2015?

I'm in the same position but assume (and hope) it's just an issue with the Landmark database being updated to reflect the issue of the 2015 software.

When you open a 2014 model in 2015 it automatically saves a backup cab file of your model in the model directory under backups.

If you open it up in 2014 you should be able to progress in there and get it lodged.

Thanks for relaying this information Steve. VE 2015 is currently pre-approved. We did a live assessment last Wednesday for the Welsh DSM and got a verbal confirmation everything checks out, we're just waiting for the formal letter of approval and at that point I'll be able to check with landmark to make sure they have the correct version numbers. As always with these things it takes a little bit of time to go through the lines of communication I suppose, different departments and all that.

I'll make an announcement on the forum when it is approved but until then use VE 2014 for any urgent projects, if you already upgraded then as mentioned already you can get the cab from the project Backups folder and this can be opened and run in the last version it was saved with prior to upgrade.

Just though I would check before I get on with a new job. If there has been an announcement i have missed it, so I'm still working in 2014 for projects nearing completion.

Sorry for the delay posting back here. VE 2015 was approved for Part L2 2013 England and L2 2014 Wales at the end of June and is our current approved software solution.
