Hi
I am working on a building model which has part of its walls "buried" or in contact with the ground.
Can anyone tell me how to draw it? I've been looking and I couldn't find info/tutorials in relation with it.
Thanks!
Walls in contact with the ground
Re: Walls in contact with the ground
Hello,
Does anyone Know how to solve this?
My walls are place on a valley so part of my geometry in first floor is buried and second floor is half over the ground (not over the first floor). How can I show this?
Thanks

I'm guessing you could just add the earth and soil to the wall construction for those walls below ground. Thats what I do.

Hi guys,
Seems to be a bit of overlap with another thread in the Part L forum:

I prefer to use Google SketchUp for buildings built into the side of hills etc. As the ground level can be all over the place, this lets you neatly split up surfaces / walls.
Its also a bit easier to draw topographical shade.
