EER vs. NPLV vs. SSEER

Post by MarkHallman »

Hi there, I'm trying to reconcile the chiller manufacturer's data versus what I should be inputting into my Apache Systems. The data I have is:

At Design Condition -- EER = 2.2 / NPLV = 3.9
At AHRI Conditions -- EER = 2.9 / NPLV = 4.0

I'm a bit lost with how this reconciles with Apaches inputs of SEER, SSEER, delivery efficiency and Heat rejection %. Any help would be great!

that EER looks like a COP to me. Some manufacturers use different definition for EER/COP. I would suggest you read up on the details of efficiency values to better understand exactly what is the efficiency reported by the manufacturer.
