New to IES VE, how to set room temperature

Post by qwerty123456 »

Hi guys
I have a room that needs to be 21C and the surrounding rooms need to be at 10C, how do I assign the temperatures to these rooms?

FYI, this part of the forum is for questions relating to geometry building. Yours is more of a thermal question but anyway...

All inputs relating to rooms conditions are done via the Apache module unless you are specifically looking at regulations compliance or EPCs.

I would suggest you have a read of the Apache user guide which will hopefully get you started.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but IES is a very complicated and specialist bit of software and the fact that you're asking such a simple question suggests that you may not be ready to use it on live projects or research. However, if you are working on a training model then go nuts.

I'm guessing with the user name that qwerty isn't taking it particularly seriously.
