Hi,

Not quite sure what you mean you can't select?

If you can't select ModelIT from the Application elector then you may not have a license for this, you can check this in the Help menu, choose Help >> Troubleshooting or Help >> License Control.

If it's the attach DXF option you're missing, then make sure you're in ModelIT then choose the ModelIT menu "Attach DXF File" option and the Attach DXF File options dialog should open, does this happen?

harinder,
Are you talking about within AutoCad - if so then I'd have a little read of the AutoCad manual if I were you.
If you are talking about once you are in IES then you'll have to rephrase your question a little bit because there's a few things this could be, for example:

Does your DXF file meet the criteria spelled out in the user guide (cunningly called DXF drawing requirements)?
All the room names within the spaces and on a single layer? In fact that's all in the guide - why am I typing stuff that's already laid out in that?

As Phil@IES has asked there... do you have a ModelIT license? If you don't have a license you can't access the functionality.

I might be able to answer the question if I can figure out what you are asking. If in doubt screenshot the issue: A picture paints a thousand words!
