Hi,

That should be quite easy, draw the hemisphere as normal. Then select the shape and go down a level of decomposition, change the dropdown to edit mode and use the divide space tool to cut off any sections you don't want to keep.

You should find some more guidance on this in the ModelIT User Guide.

No problem,

it can take a while to get familiar with any software. I am obliged to mention now that we offer training sessions on ModelIT, more info at http://www.iesve.com/TrainingUK/VE-Pro. Even just some basic modelling guidance would give a great basis for anyone with an interest in going on to further analysis using <VE>.

Additionally, you might find the SketchUp plug-in useful for modelling purposes. There is no additional cost for you to install the plug-in and transfer geometry from SketchUp to ModelIT. http://www.iesve.com/Software/Model-Bui ... Up-plug-in

Maybe some of this is useful to you maybe not, just wanted to mention it.

Thanks,
Phil
