Creating a Stratified Zone
Creating a Stratified Zone
I am working on a model with fairly complex geometry (inclined vertical walls and the like). There are certain zones that will have a UFAD system and therefore I want to stratify the volume of those zones. Is there an easy way to slice the volume vertically? Or will I have to recreate the complex volume as two separate pieces?

Hi,
I am not sure it would answer your question, but try looking at the modelIT user guides for methods of slicing/separating your geometry.
Alternatively you can create the UFAD zones under the thermal zones and then adjust the heights appropriately. This way you do not need to recreate the volumes entirely.
