Hi all Experts ,
I am totally newbie to IES . Just want to explore IES and get friendly with it.
I was searching for some tutorial stuff like the models that i can open it in IES and perform some operations on it.

Hi,

We don't have any tutorial files as such but you can try out the ModelIT tutorials (click Help >> User Guides to access these) and you should be quite quickly able to build some models and move onto exploring other areas of <VE>.

If you want to try out VE-Toolkits and VE-Gaia with models that have some inputs already set up I would suggest you take a look at out SketchUp plug-in. If you install SketchUp Free and then download our example buildings from the Google warehouse http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ ... &scoring=m you can quite quickly get into <VE> with models that have inputs set for analysis in the <VE> applications.

Really you just have the User Guides and it's up to you to look at what can be done. If you are interested further then you might want to consider sitting on some of our web training sessions to get a better feel for <VE>. Further details available from our website http://www.iesve.com/TrainingUK/

Hope that helps get you started, maybe other users with similar experiences of first trialling <VE> could post hints and tips here too?
