more than one construction type for same external wall

Hi.

I have already build the model, but the architect has now changed the external wall constructions. Now there are two different types of constructions for some external walls.
How can I assign two different types of constructions to same external wall.

Hi,

You can do this by splitting the room in ModelIT (use the Divide Space tool and make sure you select the "Divide without partitions" option), this will split the room into as many sections as you like. Then when assigning Constructions select the room and go down the levels of decomposition to select the individual surfaces you want to edit and use the Assign Constructions dialog as normal to replace what's already assigned.
