missing components in library?

Post by normwheatley »

Hi,
I'm trying to add trees to my model but when I click on the Componenmt Library and take a look inside all I see are radiators, sources and solid heat sources?

In C:\Program Files\IES\VE 6\apps\components I can see trees.mcl, people.mcl etc but how can I use these in my model?

thanks

Hi Norm ,
Here is a link for the 'Component modeller'.
This will give you a complete idea of how to use components in a model.

http://www.iesve.com/downloads/help/Mod ... deller.pdf

If you need any further information , please do let me know.
Thanks & Regards ,

Hi everybody,

in my Components folder I don't find ANY component with the .mcl extension.

Could you please explain why?

And, another question: can I delete the only file (project_name.mcl) I have in veExport, being likely (as I read in this forum) the cause of the VE MFC has stopped working pop up?

Thank you so much!

Ornella
