I just move to 6.1 but sometime I would like to use 5.9.2, how can I do with 5.9.2 to use new keys file ?

Hi ,
You can keep both the versions (5.9.2 & 6.1 )on your machine if you have the valid license.
Note:
The VE is backward compatible only (you can’t open a new model in an older version).
There is no need to uninstall the older version while upgrading.

Hi,
As Vajindar said you can have version 5.9.2 and version 6.1 installed side by side. If you have upgraded your keys to version 6 then you will need to run a tool to allow you to run version 5..9 using the v 6 keys.
Download it from here http://www.iesve.com/content/mediaAsset ... Update.exe
Run the tool and direct it to your installation of <VE> 5.9 then click Go and a dialog will be displayed confirming it was updated. Thta's all you have to do next time you run v5.9 it will work with the v6 keys.
