Glass Blocks

Hello,

I have external glass blocks to add to a model (190x190x160). I have modelled them as windows in ModelIT to which I would like to modify the parameters in Apache under construction materials. However, how do I modify the parameters of a window to represent glass blocks (i.e. by including the % of mortar, daylight transmission)?

Hi,

You should model the glass blocks as glazing constructions so that light is allowed to pass through. It's just a case of modifying the construction to match the u-value then you can edit the Transmittance to match the properties of the blocks.
