Multiplex bug report

Post by huntervu28 »

I'm still modeling an office building HVAC.

first : I define all stories are open space, no internal partition and check system HVAC, everything fine. Each zone has one FCU and some flow control (sensed room temperature) (1).

second : I divide one floor into 8 small rooms, each has one FCU mean total 8 FCUs in one floor, then setup all data and flow control (sensed room temperature) in a multiplex that defined base on (1)

After running simulation, everything seem fine, but in HVAC detail node flow, all room in multiplex and their flow control didn't obey new rules. All flow at each node in multiplex are controlled by the old rule that defined from (1).

Please check this problem.

Solved : After deleting all control and re-assign flow value, it works fine.

Hi,

Glad you found a solution to this problem. From reading your summary it sounds like perhaps the layers of the multiplex were all based on the base layer and global edit mode had been used. If you see strange behaviour like this then I would first of all change to local edits and go through each layer to confirm they are defined as you expected.
