Occupancy profiles in Macroflow

Works in conjunction with ApacheSim to provide bulk airflow analysis for passive/hybrid ventilation system design and simulation.

Occupancy profiles in Macroflow

Post by GARY JAMES »

Hi Technical Support, I'm currently working on a CFD for a two space office connected by a hole in the wall. Each office space has two different occupancy levels, the larger office 20 and the smaller 16 when looking at internal gains in the template manager do you set up two different occupancy gains. If you do I'm not to sure how to assign the correct occupancy gains for each office when running Apache to get the correct ventilation rates for each office space. Any ideas would great.

Thanks, Gary

Hi,

If the rooms are modelled separately then yes you can create two separate occupancy gains and apply them tot he rooms. You can do this by having two separate templates or just use the room query in apache to change the internal gain that is used.
