LEED simulation Baseline

Post by ew0187 »

Is anyone familiar with creating a LEED Baseline Simulation with in IES, I am a relatively new user and i am having a little bit of a problem assigning systems to the model (based on ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G). Please let me know if anyone is familiar with this process.

I'd say you need to use their premium navigator... and book their training... AND get help on the first project at every step because you'll never be able to figure that one out yourself no matter what the salesman might have told you. They really need to make it clear that this is a massive undertaking and not a point-and-click exercise. I'm not a LEED AP unfortunately (otherwise I'd be in Abu Dhabi driving an SLK) but I've flirted with some of it and it is certainly more involved than it is made out to be.

Sorry if that's not particularly helpful.
