Setting Zones

I am trying to apply thermal zones within my project, how do i go about setting what area should be applied to each zone

I would like a solution to this also:

In Apache, you can assign constructions as well as thermal properties. I have 2 of these templates, room and ceiling. When I click to assign the thermal properties, it always says ceiling. no matter how many times I change it to room, it still stays as ceiling.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry if I am misunderstanding but I am not quite sure what it is either of you are trying to do here?

- To assign Thermal templates
Change to a thermal view (e.g. Apache), select a room then click on the "Assign room thermal template to selection set" toolbar button, then choose the thermal template you would like to apply from the dropdown and click on the Ok button.
You can add new thermal templates or edit existing in the Building Template Manager.

- To assign constructions
Again in a thermal view, select a room(s) and then click on the "Assign constructions" button. This shows for each surface the Construction that is currently assigned and then offers a choice of Constructions of that type that you can replace it with. To edit the Construction you have to choose the currently assigned Construction for each surface Category then choose a replacement. Add new Constructions or edit existing in the Constructions Database.
