Solar Heat Gain

Hi,

I just start using the program, and I am trying the create a color coded 3D model that shows the solar heat gain over the roof. Can anyone please guide me where to start from?

Hi Omer,

You can't get this output from SunCast I'm afraid.

SunCast calculations show the direct solar areas on each surface and prepare the SHD file for Apache to read for solar gain calculations. This is an area we're looking to enhance in future versions.

You can get a variable colour scale within VistaPro showing the solar gain for every zone in the model at a set-point but I don't think that this is what you are after.
