link my utility cost to consumption of building

Post by David »

The following came in from a user but couldn't be posted to board for some reason so I'll do it here:

>> Hi everyone,
>> Does anybody know if there is a way to link my utility cost to the consumption of my building?
>> I tried it in lifecost by cannot find the *.ann file it requests.
>> Hope someone can help me!
>> V Cardona.

Yes, what you have to do is run an annual energy simulation first - Apache creates the ANN file when run from DEFT.

While using DEFT I get "Error 339, component modx.ocx or one of its components not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid". Does anybody know how I can repair this error? I have Windows 7, does that have anything to do with the error?

hmm this should really be a new subject but will respond here for now...

To correct this you will need an installation of <VE> 6.1.1, it will be fixed in the next version of <VE> but for now if you install <VE> 6.1.1 then it will let you run Deft.

You can get 6.1.1 from the version archive at http://www.iesve.com/Support/Knowledge- ... sectionId=
