Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you

Re: Chimney
Dear Jen,
First of all , welcome to IES group.
You can draw a chimney like you draw the room & you can put the openings at both the end.
If you want to use this chimney for thermal analysis you should define this as a local shades & if you want to use this for MicroFlo/CFD then you should defind this chimney as a room.
There are few videos on SketchUp website which shows how to draw a chimney on the roof. Hope that will give you a clear idea.

Jen , If you are really intrested in learning IES in detail then I would stronly recommend you to go for IES Training program. These trainings are conducted by IES Experts.
I have mentioned a link for the same.
