I'm afraid we don't have this functionality in <VE>, hopefully one day the texture library will be updated and customisable but I don't see it happening with the current ModelIT (we are currently investigating a new graphics engine but this is a still a way off as far as I know)

Boooo....Thanks Phil, I'd kinda guessed that. Would really like lots more textures or even just colours. Helps marketing etc and presentations, architects like pretty pictures. Show them numbers and they look at you like you've just run a soil pipe through the middle of their atrium.

Still at least you didnt recommend I do some training. :D

heh heh...only because there really is no more you can learn about textures in current <VE>/ModelIT 8-)

I'd hope something like SketchUp is our inspiration in this area, a good library, customisable and allows any custom images to be attached. What we currently have is better than the traditional rooms are blue, doors are white etc that it replaced so there has been some progress.

If you use RadianceIES you can get some nice looking images from there with a little time spent on the surface properties (at least it's a bit more customisable).
