does anyone know if it is possible to run a simulation using the weather data of one specific year eg. 2009 or even better winter 08/09?
I have the fuel bills for that range and I would like to adjust my model to that...

Hi,
It is possible to generate fwt weather files for simulation if you can collect the weather data (think this is covered in the knowledge base, Support can help but it would likely cost support credits as it can be time consuming). Otherwise the only source I know of is the Energy Plus weather files that are available for download, no idea if they have specific years data though.

Hi,
You'll need a weather file for that specific period and location. Most weather files actually represent typical weather (or climate) of a location. They usually contain parcels of data from many different years, which then make up one representative year, which is no good to you. So you'll have to have one made (do Meteonorm do this? I'm sure there's a fee) or make one yourself.
I've made one and it's very time consuming. It involved sourcing an EnergyPlus (.epw) weather file free from their website, opening it in Excel, identifying each weather variable category (over 30), figuring out which ones I needed (about 8), sourcing those 8 for the specific period and location from my national weather service (in my case it cost €55 for student, more for commercial use), reformat this data, substitute it into original EnergyPlus file which IESVE can then read. That actually makes it sound easy. There were a couple of missing variables I had to calculate from a combination of other variables, and some missing data (from the national weather service) which I had to approximate.
So in short, I'd look at the Meteonorm route. If that isn't appropriate, and your life depends on it, it's possible to make one yourself, but allow plenty of time. I have to say, I learned alot doing it.
