IES Reports

Post by bootsam »

This model was opened from a version 6.2 model. If it was previously upgraded from a version 6.1 model, the following check should be made. Otherwise please ignore the rest of this message.

The following 6.1 activities may have been incorrectly upgraded to 6.2 activities in templates or room attributes:

Old (6.1) activity Possibly incorrect new (6.2) activity Templates which may be affected Rooms which may be affected
NCM Hotel: Display area NCM Hotel: Circulation area (Display) CIRCULATION -

However it is also possible that any of these new activities may have been correctly upgraded from a different old activity not listed here.

We recommend that you print this message and then review and, if necessary, modify all templates and/or room attributes which are listed here

I keep getting this report even though i have no NCM Hotel: Circulation Areas Display in my project. It appears everytime i go into templates. I am using 6.3. Wish i'd left it at 6.2.

Hi,

This message is a warning when it senses a room type that may have been upgraded badly from 6.1 -> 6.2 -> 6.3, the advice is to check any rooms with the activity listed and ensure they have the correct NCM Template assigned for your purposes (check the set points and gains really). If in doubt reassign the activity and reapply any room level settings.

If you are convinced you don't have that NCM Activity assigned anywhere it could be that the message is being triggered by an NCM Template loaded in the project but not in use (possibly one of your actual templates has this selected on the Building regs tab but you have overridden this in the model) in which case you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this clarifies, if you have any other concerns maybe support can take a look at the project and comment further.

The delay in BTM is being investigated, I expect an improvement to this in the next update we release.

I'll try to check out the problem with the message being displayed in BTM as well as I believe this warning should only appear in VE Compliance (but I can see why it is happening in BTM).

Hope this isn't driving you all too mad
