Re: Auxiliary Energy

Post by PCully »

Hi,

I had a chance to go through this this afternoon, one of the factors used to calculate AEV was updated by BRE. In the case of Constant Volume Systems tAEnergy was changed from 119.7 to 1 so you see a massive difference in VE 6.2 when we implemented these new factors into the Wizard.

I'm afraid I don't have a source for this data to hand but it should be available via BRE/SBEM somewhere (sorry again I can't provide this but I hope this shows where the difference is coming from here).

A defn of tAEnergy that I found: tAEnergy is a correlation produced by BRE to characterise the dependence of auxiliary energy on variables such as system type, specific fan power, leakage factor, etc.
