Hi,
Draw a simple wall & assign construction properties of gypsum in construction set to the wall.

Partitioning a room:
1) Select a room you wish to partition.
2) Click 'Draw partition to divide selected space' button from the toolbar.
3) Draw a partition line you wish to.

I hope this has been of some help.

One more thing , If you have not attened any training session for IES<VE> then I would strongly recommend you to go for it.

Thanks & Regards ,

Hi,

Thank you very much for your answer, actually my problem was more about how to draw the partition and not how to made it be from gypsum but finally I found it out.
Can i ask you another thing. Can you please tell me how to delete a partition because it doesn't behave as a normal wall right?

Thank you again for your help.

don't think of "adding" partitions in IES because that's not what it's doing - it models volumes so you are in effect drawing different rooms for each partitioned space. If you want to remove partitions then either draw a 100% hole between the spaces or merge the things.
