Problem with Zenit and azimuth

Post by maiquesk »

Hi,

I took my weather file to Meteonorm in EPW. And with some station, zenith and azimuth are not good. In March my sun rises at 2:30 p.m.!

How to solve this problem?

you could try querying this with Meteotest so they could look at correcting the weather file?

The Support team here can generate Weather Files for use in VE but you need all the accurate data and there may be a fee to do this for companies who don't have a Maintenance contract with us.

The Meteonorm's weather file seems correct. When I check Meteonorm's weather file, all radiation's data seems good, and the location of the weather site (longitude and latitude) is the same as VE.

When I check Meteonorm's weather file, i saw that it do not have data of Zenit and azimuth hour by hour. I think it's VE who creates data of Zenit and azimuth hour by hour. How can I change it ?

I solve my problem. :D

The problem comes to Meteonorm. In EPW, the datas are separated by a comma, and decimal by a dot. The problem comes from the data of longitude. The decimal separator was made by a comma in place of a dot.

ah good spot :)

occasionally the European use of dot and comma causes problems for us here but wherever possible we have improved VE To catch this, still catches us out from time to time. Glad you worked it out.
