Double skin facade

Post by Mark_Benini »

Hello everyone! My name is Mark.

Although I cannot be considered as a VE rookie user, I am facing the problem that I am not sure whether I can solve. Actually, I might be considered as a rookie user when it comes to MacroFlo module and I have realised that in order to simulate the behaviour and impact of double skin facade I should do it in MacroFlo. Am I right? Is there any solution that would not include entering this module. I had thoughts about changing thermal properties of existing constructions, as well as adding obstruction (that might represent glazed wall), but I believe it is very tricky to perform it correctly, especially when it comes to u-values, since the air temperature in the gap varies. Any help, pls?

Hi,

I think the discussion here viewtopic.php?f=226&t=895&hilit=double+ ... 6aee6a03ea should get you started on this.
