CFD external analysis - how to uncheck 'isothermal'

Post by keechuan »

hi there,

Can somebody help me with this? i am using IES 6.0, CFD
i need to know the relationship between the air flow and temperature for external air flow,
but i couldn't uncheck the 'isothermal'!!

and it keeps come to me result without temperature different.

(i have set all the surface temperature... )

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks heaps!

I've moved this to the MicroFlo forum so there is a better chance of someone giving some guidance on this.

see viewtopic.php?f=191&t=1964&sid=bf5f0169 ... f081f328ad.

Microflo has always been isothermal for external airflows simulations. In other words Microflo doesn't solve for temperature for external wind sims.

If you have added surface temperatures that must have been when you had the pulldown menu as "Internal analysis". The temperatures added to the surfaces are then the internal surface temps.
