U-value for Vertical & Sloped Glazing

Post by byme_guy »

My model has a vertical walls & sloped walls (varies from 10deg to 60deg from vertical) with glazing. In the building template manager under constructions, I used only 1 type of wall and glazing for everything. My questions is, will the U-value change by itself for walls/glazing with different slopes since the inside air surface resistance also varies? or should I make different types of walls/glazing depending on the position/slope of it?

Hi,

As far as I know Apache won't adjust the u-value when the Construction is assigned to a sloped wall so you will need to create different constructions to represent this
