apache simulation error

Post by Kakanthony »

I got an error running the model half way through, it said ''it cannot find the path specified''. 'cannot open asp file', 'the file has been used by another process'.

it seems weird to me.

wondering anyone come across this?

Hi,

This is usually a problem with either the model name or the results filename, check you have no strange characters in there (try to avoid . & $ / \ etc). To troubleshoot I suggest do a save as on the model and save it to your C: Drive with a name like model.mit then try running the sim again with results file name test.aps or something.

Another thing to check out is where the project is saved, don't save it on a network or in an area you don't have full read/write admin privileges as VE will need to be able to write the results files to the project folder.
