yes the airflow will depend on wind speed, direction, exposure type, orientation etc. Further details of how this works is found in the MacroFlo Calculation Methods document at http://www.iesve.com/downloads/help/ve6 ... ethods.pdf

Hello,

can you link me please the User Guide where I can find some clarifications about the use of MacroFlo crack lenght OR Natural Ventilation in Building Template. I see that this post is old, it is yet valid also in IES-VE PRO 6.4.0.6?

Hi Pier,

I don't think there is any section in the user guides that really covers this distinction between using Air Exchanges or MacroFlo to model natural ventilation but I think between the ApacheSim & MacroFlo User Guides and this discussion thread you should have enough information to understand.
