Chiller set data

Post by luanaepb »

Hi,

Could you explain me how to deal with the "chiller set" tab whitin "chiller" in ApacheHVAC? The latest user guide doesn't explain how it works because I think this is only available in the most recent versions of the software.

I understood that in the column "Autosizing capacity weighting" we must enter the percentage of the total load that the specific chiller will be responsible for.

But I'm not sure how does the "part load range..." colums works. Do the percentages refer to the total load?

Thank you.

Hi,

This is a fairly new addition to the ApacheHVAC app but the user guide is well maintained. The latest version can be accessed from recent versions of VE via Help >> User Guides.

The ApacheHVAC User Guide can be downloaded from http://www.iesve.com/downloads/help/ve6 ... heHVAC.pdf and Section 2.8.4 has a few pages on the Chiller Set tab that I think should help you.
