Hello
Earlier today i opened one of my previous IESVE Files, because i wanted the input data from it for another project. I saved this under a new name in the same mainfolder as the one i had opened. Now i see that only the new name exist and all the time i spent on the other project is wasted (i still needed it). How can i save the project under a new name and it completely removes the old file? If this is something basic set up this should be changed right now!

Saves under a new name, and remove the old file
Re: Saves under a new name, and remove the old file
Found out that somehow IESVE doesnt like folders with the dots in its name and therefore created a completely new one, with a _ instead of a . in the name... Didnt notice that before.
Re: Saves under a new name, and remove the old file
There should be a warning when it does that? The QA guys were trying to pin down any scenarios where the software still lets you include a dot (avoid dots in the file name or the path!) so we can avoid problems like this in future.
Glad you were at least able to work out where it went wrong.
