intersections
intersections
Is there any way to fix intersections without doing merge? because once i do that, some other rooms start intersecting with each other and i can't merge them, because thay have different thermal properties... They intersect in some minor corners... I don't want to import everything again from Revit...

Re: intersections
Hi ,
There is not any special command to repair the intersection as of now.
You need to re-draw the space to get rid of intersection. Please make sure that you make intersection ON , this can be done by using key-in command.
intersection = ON
I hope this has been of some help.

Re: intersections
Hi,
Intersections can be a serious problem and occasionally will come in when you import from 3rd party software. The ModelIt check will inform you where the intersections are and they can usually be fixed quite easily by adjusting vertices points (ModelIT go down to surface level and change to Edit mode then choose edit vertices) but sometimes if you struggle you'll find that it's easiest just to delete the problem room and redraw it.

Re: intersections
Thanks for the answers... I actually did it using the slice tool and erasing the part of the intersection... something similar, but maybe a little slower...
