Add door/window/hole button issue.

I've tried searching the forum for a fix for this issue.
Suddenly while adding doors to a space the pull down on the add doors button stopped functioning, the same issue applies to the add windows and hole. Pressing the buttons however does bring up the place opening window, in addition when the window is open and the cursor for placing the openings is visible the openings cursor doesn't snap to the nearest wall, they just maintain their orientation and position no matter what.
I've tried being in various levels of the model but nothing seems to fix this, including a 'repair installation' and a full restart. This leads me to believe it is just a setting or something I have accidentally tweaked.
Anyone have a fix or solution?

Hi ,
This is not a bug or issue with the VE , it is made to work so.
When you press a add door , window or hole button , a "Place opening" window appears which allows you to place opening. First , You have to select which type of opening you want to add on the wall & then actually place it on the wall.
If you want to add another opening then , you have to close the "Place opening" window & then add another type of opening.

There are different ways of adding opening to wall at different levels (model level , , surface level , opening level).
