error message

Post by mnik56 »

Hi

However I have already use radiance without any problem but

today An error message comes up when I run Radiance

Invalid or absent registry key - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Lawrence
Berkeley National Laboratory\Desktop Radiance

after that when I click OK under this message ,another message comes up

invalid or missing raypath value in registry

If anyone knows how to fix it, it would be much appreciated.

Hi Mansour,

This is a known issue that occurs the first time you run Radiance after installing or reinstalling the VE. The VE is trying to check the registry entry before it has been set. It sets it as soon as you click OK on the second error message box. You will not see the message again after this.

Thanks,
Steven
