Hi,
I am modeling natural ventilation in a two storey building. The building has operable exterior windows at the ground and roof level, a well as interior atrium zones. When openings are operated air should ideally enter the building at the occupied zone level, travel through the atrium and exit at the roof level.
After running Macroflow successfully, I can't visualize results in VistaPro - there is a problem with holes assigned in the atrium zones, which I created merging multiple zones.
I see on the forum that somebody else had the same problem before, however the suggested workaround does not work for my model
(See answer Posted: Fri Mar 23, 2012 5:43 pm).
Could you please assist?
Many thanks
Marzia

Re: Problem with merged zones in Macroflow
Hi
Coincidently enough I spoke to one of the guys at IES last week about this and apparently it is fixed for the next version but I guess that's not helping you now.
Why not just redraw the space as a single zone (if you don't want stratification) or merge the spaces rather than combine? Alternatively if you have them as two separate zones it'll work - not ideal but you should get what you are after.
I'm afraid I'm not going to be looking for posts at certain times/dates... if you are quoting something I'd suggest linking to it or including as a quote.
Zap.
