Hi,
I'm modelling a C&S building and I've a doubt about PRM full report.
Proposed plant is a VRF system with water condensing heat pump that I've modelled following Appendix D in ApacheHVAC User Guide.
Baseline plant is the 8th template from Ashrae.
In report, for space heating, I've proper values for both proposed and baseline with 74% saving, in space cooling field value for proposed is 0 (so, a 100% saving). That's very strange because plant is correctly simulated and, in vista, I have proper results.
I don't know if it is an error in PRM report creation or, modelling a VRF plant, it's normal that VE report a 0 consumption in cooling. I add a snapshot from report to show you my problem.

Thanks in advance!

Re: PRM full report - space cooling
Hi,
This isn't really an area I have a great knowledge in but in cases where you get a zero and expect a value then it is worth investigating. We see two cases with issues like this
1. The report is just writing out the wrong value
2. The model is not set up correctly or something is seriously wrong in the simulation which is obviously more of a problem as it may affect other results in your project, thankfully this is the more rare case.
If you have a maintenance contract with our Support team then I'd certainly recommend you contact them (us) with the project to try to get to the bottom of this.

Re: PRM full report - space cooling
Sorry for the late answer...
Thank you for your help, I've contact support help desk and they find the problem. It was very simple, under cooling loop in fuel form there was "electricity" instead of "Cooling (electricity)". Now the report is correctly generate.
Thanks, have a nice day!
