3D modelling of building
Hi, I would like to ask is it possible to construct an eight floors building with different layout plan? If possible, is it important and will it affect the simulation? thanks

Hi chinong,
yes it is possible to create any multiple of floors with any number of different layouts. This can be done using either ModelIT or creating the geometry in SketchUp and importing it into IES.
I would suggest you contact IES for some training sessions that can help you get started with the software, as it has a somewhat steep learning curve.
