So I've installed SP2 and got the shiny new buttons.
I've watched the video.
And I'm just itching to apply MacroFlo openings to multiple windows in multiple rooms (and take the rest of the day off, and possibly tomorrow too).
But when I press the 'Opening Selection and Assignment' button and the dialogue box opens the radio button for 'MacroFlo opening' is greyed out and I can only apply constructions.
Now that is just not so exciting, as it was always possible to do this by using 'Assign Constructions, and it meansw I've now got a lot of clicking to do (300+ rooms = 3,000+ clicks). So what am I missing here?

PS However I did notice that 'Storey Creator' can now be used to extrude multiple rooms at once, which is a big plus.

Hiya,
Having the exact same problem - can you let me know if you have figured anything out?
Been trying to get hold of tech support but having the usual frustration of - there isn't really any tech support.
Cheers

Re: Applying MacroFlo openings using new SP2 tool.
Getting through to tech support on the phone is a lottery due to there being no queuing system and limited call handlers. Fun fact - there used to be a queuing system but it was removed one day and never came back. I wonder why...?
These days I mostly resort to email which normally gets a response in about two days. But if I've got an urgent software issue that I need help with... well let's just say it can be quite frustrating.
I'll caveat by saying that the IES support team themselves are all very professional and helpful but there simply aren't enough of them and, as a company, I think IES needs to look carefully at the level of support they offer. Corporate level customers expect, as a minimum, to be able to reliably contact technical support during business hours and actually speak to a human being. The difference between a problem being fixed in hours and days can have huge ramifications for a project and a company.

I agree. It would be helpful if they had a message (when applicable) saying that they were in a meeting and no one is available. At least then you wouldn't spend half an hour hitting redial!! That, with a queueing system letting you know the estimated time of waiting would be a huge step forward.
I tend to use them as a last resort, which I think is the result that they intend.

Apparently this is only an issue with stand alone licences... this is the fix that they emailed me.
We have a dll you can use which allows you to fully use the select openings by criteria tools including assigning Construction and MacroFlo properties. I have written instructions below.
You can download the dll here http://upload.iesve.com/uploads/staff/9743/VECore.zip
Save to your local machine
Unzip
Browse to your VE 2015 Feature Pack 2 installation folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\IES\VE 2015)
In the apps folder locate VETabEdit.dll and VECore.dll. Rename to _VETabEdit.dll and _VECore.dll (retain this in case you need to roll back)
Now copy the new VETabedit.dll and VECore.dll in
Run IESFix.exe as an administrator to register
Launch VE as normal and you will now be able to use the full assign openings functionality.

It appears the problem also exists with networked licences too and it is 'a known issue'.
A 'hotfix' is imminent so I'm told.
It might have been useful if the IES Gods had posted this information here.
