Error Message: Unable to access file -\CZ09RVZ.epw.

Post by bboltt »

Hi,

I got this error message after running ApacheSim simulation: Unable to access file -\CZ09RVZ.epw.

However I did not select this file as weather file. In fact, this is my simulation weather file set: LosAngelesTMY2.fwt

Can someone help me? Great appreciated.

Hi,

That's strange I wonder if you have existing simulation results in your project that did reference that file perhaps?

Is it only the one project you get this error on? And do you have a file with that name in your shared content installation/Weather folder? If so check its properties and ensure it's not read only or locked by some process

Did you maybe accidentally hit any buttons in the Title-24 application? That is a California Title 24 specific weather file, and if you activate the title 24 module I think it may try to find the appropriate weather file.
