Works in conjunction with ApacheSim to provide bulk airflow analysis for passive/hybrid ventilation system design and simulation.

Hi,

Yes the vokume flow-rate is displayed within the Vista results package along with mass flow in/out and opening area.

I believe that if you calculate the thermal comfort of the zone by calculating air velocity into the area you are exceeding the capability of the analysis. This is bulk analysis, so the velocity you will calculate will be the average velocity across the opening, however, you are not accounting for velocity gradients in the opening, which will significantly vary. You may need to amplify your results to account for the peak velocity in the opening (can be 2× or more), which will depend on many geometrical factors, and how far the opening is from the area being studied.
